Green Drinks To Kick Start Your Day!

How’s the healthy eating going? Could it be a little better? I suppose there’s always room for improvement.

In our lives, we often have way too much going on which can lead to stress, lack of energy, bad skin and we lose motivation to do things.

What you might need is a simple juice. Keyword: simple.

You can gain amazing benefits by starting your day with a green vegetable juice/smoothie on an empty stomach, followed by a healthy nutritious breakfast. These recipes are not meal replacements, more likely additions to your eating plan. They are an extra boost of plant based goodness! These green beauties are only around 100 calories. Like a big vitamin and a mineral tablet but 100% natural.

Here’s our 5 delcious recipes that we’d like to share with you. If you do use one of our recipes, please feel free to share them to our facebook group or to my e-mail nicki@veganwellnesscoach.com

Detoxville Juice

  • 2 Cucumbers
  • 1 Small Beetroot
  • 3 Celery Stalks
  • 1 Large Handful Spinach Leaves
  • 1 Lemon, Peeled
  • 1 Lime, Peeled
  • ½ Teaspoon Turmeric

Push vegetables through a juicer and add the turmeric at the end. Stir to combine and enjoy. This juice is without fibres so the nutrients get to the cells faster.

Green Monster Juice

  • 2 Small Green Apples, Cut in Half
  • 3 Celery Stalks
  • 1 Cucumber
  • 8 Leaves Kale

Push through the juicer and enjoy before your breakfast. Again, this is a juice without fibres and will get absorbed faster.

Now we shall try the more filling vegetable smoothies that contain fibre.  Here we’re blending all the vegetables and fruit in one go.

Hi Nicki, Unfortunately I don,t have a juicer only a wee hand blender but think I may be able to do the green vanilla surprise so will try that in next couple of days. They all sound delicious! I guess some kind of juicer/blender will be on my next shopping list. Thank you for all your help so far!
